Zorki Photo Cafe Cluj Napoca Interview
One of the frequently asked questions while traveling to a new city is: What is a nice place where I can have a coffee in the morning or a beer in the evening (or the other way around 🙂 ), where I can socialize and meet interesting people? Well, there are many places like this in Cluj-Napoca and most of the time it is not easy to suggest just one of them. That’s why, we decided to have a short interview with some of the best, so you can see what is the uniqueness of every cool cafe/ bar and if it suits you.
Today we chose Zorki Photo Cafe, a lovely and friendly place! Enjoy!
- What is the concept of your bar, and how did you come up with the idea?
As the name says, Zorki Photo Cafe, wants to be a place dedicated to arts, especially to photography. From 2007 on, we organized hundreds of artistic events, concerts, exhibitions, charity events, book launching, theater plays etc. Being a photographer myself, this idea came just naturally, wishing to create a community of beautiful people that do/ create beautiful things.
- Can you describe your main clientele?
Even if it is contrary to all the marketing books, our cafe is for everybody. This years we had clients aged between some months and 90 years old. Still, most of the clientele is formed of students.
- What is it about your cafe that makes it unique?
The uniqueness of the cafe consists of the people that come here and the people that work in here.
- What is your specialty drink or service that can only be found here?
Zorki coffee, prepared since 2007 when we inaugurated the cafe.
- What do you think about the guests who come from Transylvania Hostel?
Our collaboration with Transylvania Hostel is a strong, long lasting and of a very good quality. We are happy and enjoy every client as the first one.
Doesn’t this make you get out of your room and explore the beauties of the city?
