Directions

Reach the street, look to your right side and you will see a huge bridge (over the railroad). Cross the bridge -the street turns then to the left. Keep walking on it around 200 meters until on the left side you will reach the train station. (7 minutes from bus to train station) From there follow the indications “from the Train Station”.

Cross the street and take bus number 3 or 4. A ticket that is valid for two trips can be purchased from a kiosk for 4 Lei.

Bus 3 directions: Take bus 3 in the diretion “Snagov Sud” and ride for 3 stops. Get off at the “Teatru” stop. Walk back to the intersection in the direction the bus came from and cross Eroilor Boulevard. Turn left onto Eroilor and walk to the next corner. Turn right at Victoria Cinema onto Baba Novacs. At the next corner turn left onto Iuliu Maniu Street. You will find us under the bat-shaped sign at Iuliu Maniu number 26 on the left side of the street.

Bus 4 directions: Take bus 4 in the direction “M-Camin Sannicoara” and ride for 3 stops. Get off at the “Regionala CFR” stop. Walk back to the corner in the direction the bus came from. The big white Orthodox Cathedral in Avram Iancu Squre will be just in front of you on the left side. Continue walking past the square. Cross the street at the next intersection and turn left. Walk to Iuliu Maniu Street, which will be the first street leading off to your right. You will find us under the bat-shaped sign at Iuliu Maniu number 26.

From the bus or train station it should not take more than 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. We recommend taking any taxi that has a company name on the side. Please make sure they start the meter. It shouldn’t cost you more than 20 lei.

Walking: Walk away from the train station down Horia Street. (You will be going toward the city center) Cross the bridge over the river and walk straight ahead, pass Hotel Melody until you see the brown Catholic Church in Unirii Square on yor right side. Turn left at the KFC onto Iuliu Maniu street Look for the yellow bat-shaped sign that says “Hostel” above our door at Iuliu Maniu No 26.

By Bus: Take bus number 8 or 5 from just outside of the airport parking lot. A one-way ticket can be purchased for 2 Lei from the purple machine.

Bus 5 directions: Take bus 5 in the direction “Piata Garii Sos” and ride for 12 stops. Get off at Sora Shopping Center (Statia Sora). Cross the street at the crosswalk in front of you, and walk down the small street Bolyai Janos. Turn left at the music shop on the corner and walk down Iuliu Manu street. You will find us under the bat-shaped sign at Iuliu Maniu number 26 on the right side of the street.

Bus 8 directions: Take bus 8 in the direction “PMV 2 Sos” and ride for 11 stops. Get off at “Constanta”. The big white Orthodox Cathedral in Avram Iancu Squre will be just in front of you on the left side. Walk in the same direction the bus was moving and cross the small Constanta street followed by the bigger Cuza Voda street. Turn left after crossing Cuza Voda and cross Blvd 21 Decembrie 1989. Walk one block and turn rught onto Iuliu Maniu street. You will find us inder the bat-shaped sign at Iuliu Maniu number 26.

By Taxi: Never accept a ride from a taxi driver walking around inside the airport. Legitimate taxis will wait in a designated taxi rank just outsde the arrivals terminal. (Napoca, Diesel, Daniel, and Nova are all good companies) The ride should take 10-20 minutes dependng on traffic, and it should cost no more than 30 Lei.
